Future Networks Engineer, WESTERN POWER
Faithful has worked in the electricity industry for over 18 years, in various roles in the UK and abroad, and is currently an innovation and low-carbon networks engineer within Western Power Distribution’s future networks team. The role involves identifying challenges for the adoption of low carbon networks in Western Power Distribution’s areas and delivering solutions through research, development and demonstration projects funded through Ofgem’s network innovation funding. Faithful joined Western Power Distribution in June 2014 initially as a primary system design engineer, designing generation connections on the 132kV, 33kV and 11kV distribution networks. Before joining Western Power Distribution, Faithful spent six years working for National Grid in Warwick as a power systems engineer. Faithful has a BEng in electronic and communication engineering from Anglia Ruskin University and an MSc in electrical power systems from Brunel University.
